Estágio supervisionado III – Regência no ensino médio: experiência no Centro Educacional de Tempo Integral Cívico Militar Professor Aristélio Sabino de Oliveira (CETI), no município de Benjamin Constant-AM

Abstract

Supervised Teaching Practice III is an essential component of teacher training, as it enables the integration of theory and practice within a school setting. The aim of this study was to describe the experiences gained whilst teaching Biology at the Professor Aristélio Sabino de Oliveira Full-Time Civic-Military Educational Centre (CETI) in Benjamin Constant, Amazonas, highlighting the methodologies employed, the teaching resources used and the students’ perceptions of the full-time education model. The teaching placement took place in Year 2 and Year 3 A-level classes, using discussion-based lessons, educational videos, assessment activities, educational games and the Kahoot! platform, as well as the completion of a questionnaire on the institution’s educational model. The results showed greater student participation and interest in active teaching methodologies, which enhanced learning and the consolidation of content. It can be concluded that the experience strengthened teacher training by developing pedagogical, reflective and methodological skills, reaffirming the importance of the teaching placement in preparing future teachers.
