Abstract

Homeless people is a latent issue and full of gaps in our society as a whole. They are considered degenerate, dirty, uncomfortable; left on the sidelines, suffering prejudice, invisible beings. However, they are human beings who have the right to a dignified life and are participants in society, but who are deprived of it for not seeing a perspective beyond their present situation, often needing outside help to get out of inertia. Therefore, the Homeless People Support and Reintegration Center becomes pertinent, relevant and necessary.

With this understanding, the proposed project will result in a Center, which will provide support and reintegration for homeless people; with the objective of having their basic needs met for a certain time, basic medical care/referral to specialized sectors, stimulating the return to society, through an environment focused on the intention of belonging, humanization and social interaction; and with training programs made available by the Center.
