| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | A pesquisa teve como objetivo geral verificar o comportamento do crescimento econômico dos membros do grupo BRICS nos anos de 2010 a 2021, a fim de identificar a posição do Brasil entre esses países. Como objetivos específicos, têm-se: a) comparar o crescimento econômico entre os países membros do BRICS; b) comparar as taxas de inflação e de juros desses países durante o período indicado; e, c) verificar a relação entre o crescimento econômico, a taxa de juros e a inflação. Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico e documental, cuja pesquisa é descritiva. Constatou-se que os países com maior taxa de inflação e taxa de juros apresentaram menor crescimento econômico. Esse foi o caso do Brasil. |
| Abstract: | The research had as general objective to verify the behavior of the economic growth of the BRICS member in the years 2010 to 2021, to identify the position of Brazil among these countries. As specific objectives, there are: a) to compare the economic growth between the member countries of the BRICS; b) to compare the inflation and interest rates of these countries during the indicated period; and c) to verify the relationship between economic growth, interest rates and inflation. It is a bibliographical and documentary research, wich is descriptive. It was found that countries with higher inflation and interest rates had lower economic growth. This was the case in Brazil. |
