Comparação da perspectiva de carreira profissional entre alunos de Administração: ingressantes versus egressos

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to verify whether the expectations of UFAM students and former students in relation to the administration course were met. To do this, it is necessary to know both the expectations of your students when entering the course and the professional perspectives of your recent graduates. Thus, a bibliographical analysis of similar and recent studies and a survey research were carried out. The results show that most of the skills and expectations were met, others, however, obtained results below the others, such as the ability to carry out management consultancy. Students mainly attribute university teaching and internships to this evolution, with scientific research and extension activities being less relevant. In this way, it can be said that the expectations before entering college were met, and the course is better evaluated by graduates, which indicates great satisfaction in completing it. Furthermore, the majority of students were satisfied with the curriculum and did not suggest changes. Finally, it is worth highlighting that, despite obtaining comprehensive training, the prospects for the vast majority of students are to continue working within their area of training.
