Estratégias de gestão de crises: uma análise da eficiência comunicacional do perfil no Instagram da Defesa Civil da cidade de Manaus

Abstract

This study explored the use of social media by the Civil Defense of Manaus, focusing on the efficiency of its communication strategies in crisis situations. Using statistics from Instagram posts, we evaluated the reception of information by users and whether the actions disclosed on the Civil Defense profile adequately reach its target audience. The research also addressed the frequency and quality of shared information, assessing whether they effectively promote interactivity between the institution and the community. Additionally, we compared the profile of the institution with that of Civil Defenses in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, aiming to identify communication characteristics of this organization and possible areas for improvement. This work contributes to deepening the understanding of the dynamics between crisis communication and public engagement on social media.
