A inteligência artificial e a economia: uma análise da produção científica no Brasil de 2018 a 2022

Abstract

This research had the general objective of mapping the national scientific production about artificial intelligence on the economical areas from 2018 to 2022 – in which, a bigger participation of Microconomics, Macroeconomics, Tecnology Economics, Environmental Economics, International Economics and Capital Market areas was observed – to identify prints in national bulletins about the object. Therefore, this study whas guided by the following specific objectives: a) Quantifying the national scientific production about the object; b) Verifying the objectives highlighted on the researches about AI on the economical areas; c) Defining which regions of the country delivered most articles about the object; d) Making a comparison between the objects of other published articles, by economical area, about artificial intelligence. This is research is a descriptive one, and secondary data from CAPES’ bulletins portal were utilized regarding the Qualis classification of A1 to C in Economics, referring to the quadriennium 2017 – 2020. It was observed that the major selected articles fit on the Macroeconomics área. In regards of the regions with bigger participation in the authoring of prints about artificial intelligence in economics, the highlighted regions were the southeast and south, wich showed the majority of published articles.
