O Serviço Social e a avaliação multidimensional da pessoa idosa: contributos e estratégias para o processo de envelhecimento saudável na atenção primária à saúde da cidade de Parintins

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the degree of contribution of Social Services in the process of Multidimensional Assessment of the Health of Elderly People (AMSPI) with a view to healthy aging and its relationship with the assumptions of the Unified Health System (SUS) in the city of Parintins . In this context, the professional intervention of Social Services in the application of the Multidimensional Assessment of the Elderly involves an articulation between the health needs of the population and their social specificities. This is a literature review articulated with professional experiences in the field of Primary Health Care, based on the hegemonic critical perspective of the Social Service professional category. The results show that with the professional mediation of the Social Service in the application of the AMSPI, a high degree of contribution to access to health policies for the elderly in the municipality of Parintins is revealed, taking comprehensive care as a reference.
