Abstract

This report details the activities of the internship in the Business Administration course, highlighting the importance of practical experience within the course, allowing students to gain experience before entering the job market. The internship is taking place at the Institute of Nature and Culture in Benjamin Constant, Amazonas, one of the units of the Federal University of Amazonas, with the aim of learning and gaining experience. The internship provided for in Law 11,788 of December 2023 defines an internship as an instrument or a means of gaining experience in the job market. The first 100 hours of activities, carried out between 15 August and 10 September, involved organising materials for the University Games, registering in the CadUFAM system, checking documents for the Permanence Grant (MEC) and supporting students in registering and submitting documents. There was also participation in the organisation of the electronic game between courses and in the Yellow September campaign, with decorations, messages and suicide prevention actions. The second 200 hours added more activities related to enrolment and document supplementation in CadUfam and participation in lectures within the institute. Of the last 100 hours remaining to complete the 300 hours, I continued to develop various activities in the sector. On 9 October, I participated in CadUfam's customer service and enrolment, as many students had questions about the procedure. On 10 October, I helped organise the list of MEC Scholarship students, checking, at the supervisor's request, who had been selected for the Permanence Scholarship. The report highlights that the experience in the sector contributed to the development of skills such as organisation, responsibility, ethics, teamwork, communication, and the practical application of content from the subjects of Logistics, Administrative Law, Information Technology, Resource Management, and Human Resources. It can be concluded that this first stage of the internship was essential for professional training, bringing theory closer to practice, expanding knowledge, strengthening academic experience, and preparing for the challenges of the job market.
