Estágio supervisionado: 300 horas de imersão, a relação entre teoria e prática na gestão ambiental da SEMMA

Abstract

The curricular internship report presents information corresponding to the period from August 20, 2025, to November 11, 2025, totaling 300 hours of internship at the Municipal Secretariat of the Environment – SEMMA. The completion of the internship is a mandatory curricular component of the Administration course at the Federal University of Amazonas - UFAM, being essential for the consolidation of theoretical knowledge acquired throughout academic training. The said work is divided into topics, namely: the Introduction, which provides a brief summary of all the work performed; following this, the general aspects of the Municipal Secretariat of the Environment, which present its structure, mission, vision, values, and approximate number of employees that the secretariat currently has available. The third topic presents the period of performance of activities, informing the specific period and the corresponding workload for the internship. The fourth topic will detail the activities developed during the internship period at the secretariat. And the fifth and final topic brings the final considerations, analyzing the learning during the internship period, reporting the relationship between theory and practice, with the importance of the experience for professional training within the Environment secretariat. The Municipal Secretariat of the Environment is located on Rua João Cândido de Lima, in the Coimbra neighborhood, in Benjamin Constant – AM, near the Municipal School Margarete Rabelo Coelho, having Public Service as its segment and currently commanded by the secretary Francisco Gladson da Silva and the undersecretary Weique Andrade de Almeida. The experience at SEMMA provides a view of the functioning of a public agency, which has its challenges and contributions to society, ensuring a cleaner and environmentally correct place, where interaction with civil servants and participation in daily routines are fundamental for the development of skills such as proactivity, organization, analytical capacity, and teamwork. Without these skills, the work cannot be done effectively
