Inteligência e criatividade tática no futsal nas categorias Sub-13 e Sub-15: um estudo com participantes do projeto Pedagogia do Esporte em Parintins – UFAM/ICSEZ

Abstract

The present study aimed to analyze tactical intelligence and creativity in futsal athletes from the U-13 and U-15 categories, participants of the Pedagogy of Sport Project at UFAM/ICSEZ, in the community of Parintins. Specifically, it sought to assess athletes’ decision-making during activities based on the situational method, classifying their levels of progression and describing the teaching-learning methods adopted. The research was characterized as a cross-sectional, comparative study with a qualitative-quantitative and descriptive approach, involving 14 athletes from the project, seven from each category. Procedural tactical knowledge and tactical creativity were evaluated using the KORA test (Kölner Entscheidungs- und Handlungstest im Fußball), through simulated game situations — such as the “Offer and Orient” (O.O.) and “Recognize Spaces” (R.E.) tests — to measure tactical intelligence and creativity. The results indicated a significant difference in tactical performance between the categories, showing that the U-15 group demonstrated superior performance, with 57.7% of its individual results reaching the level of excellence, compared to only 11.5% of the U-13 group. Divergent Tactical Creativity was the area with the greatest contrast, as none of the U-13 participants reached the excellence range. It is concluded that maturation and training quality have a direct impact on tactical development, resulting in a significant developmental gap in the U-13 category. The study reinforces that progress in youth futsal depends on the quality of the learning environment, which must be intentionally designed to promote game understanding and decision-making.
