História comparada da Reforma Protestante a partir de Carter Lindberg, Jean Delumeau e Will Durant

Abstract

This project will explore the diverse analyses and interpretations of the Protestant Reformation in historiography, using as primary sources the works of three renowned historians: Carter Lindberg in "History of the Reformation" (2017), Jean Delumeau in "The Birth and Affirmation of the Reformation" (1989), and Will Durant in "The Reformation" (1957). Thus, the research aims to shed light on how these historians, each in their own way, addressed the social, cultural, theological, and economic ramifications of the Protestant Reformation, as well as the role and importance of the main reformers.
