Serviço social e justiça ambiental: relatos de experiência de um projeto de extensão do curso de Serviço Social do ICSEZ/UFAM

Abstract

This paper presents reports on the experience of an extension project carried out by the Social Service course at ICSEZ/UFAM, whose focus is the relationship between climate change and environmental justice for the diversity of peoples in the Amazon. Methodologically, the text is the result of a bibliographic review and exploratory and practical reports regarding the operationalization of the project. The results reiterate the concern with the environmental issue in the capitalist mode of production, and the need for collective strategies aimed at environmental justice for the peoples who have defended life and Amazonian biodiversity for centuries.
