Caminhos da psicologia ambiental na Amazônia: uma análise documental do papel de um laboratório de psicologia e educação ambiental

Abstract

This study investigates the main contributions of the first psychology and environmental education laboratory in the Amazon within the field of environmental psychology, aiming to promote health and well-being for humans, the environment, and the person-environment relationship. The main objective was to analyze the work carried out as contributions to the theme of health promotion, mapping the scientific productions carried out by the laboratory, discussing which productions relate to the theme and how they relate, and finally, identifying the potential found for environmental psychology. The research was conducted through a qualitative/quantitative survey, using the laboratory's technical data sheet – a document provided by the laboratory's coordination, containing the names and dates of the productions carried out. The results indicate the potential and relevance of the laboratory in exploring the theme of health promotion, a theme of extreme importance for psychology. This study contributes to the investigation of work carried out in the area and suggests future research addressing health promotion and environmental psychology.
