Análise estatística de algumas redes complexas não-livre de escala

Abstract

In this work, we consider a new class of complex tree-type networks: non–scale-free networks. These networks are constructed from two degree distributions: a truncated power-law distribution and a log-normal distribution. A statistical analysis of this type of network is performed by considering the degree distribution, the clustering coefficient, and the diameter, among other examples of statistical measures from complex network theory. These quantities can be determined either through the eigenvalues of the connectivity (adjacency) matrix or directly from their definitions. By varying the parameters used in the network construction, we monitor the resulting topological changes and their influence on the implemented statistical analysis.
