Abstract

This article aims to analyze the teaching and learning of reading strategies, intending to study new didactic possibilities for reading instruction and acquisition from an interactionist perspective. Based on a bibliographic research grounded on the works of two prominent authors, Isabel Solé and Ângela Kleiman—both leading references in this field—this study seeks to propose methodological pathways for the development of reading comprehension and for the formation of critical readers.
