Implementação do player virtual para um objeto tangível de aprendizagem

Abstract

Leitão (2023) proposes the architecture of a technology-supported educa- tional environment focused on the creation and use of Tangible Learning Objects (TLOs). The platform is composed of four modules: the Composer, which acts as a tool and repository for lessons and learning objects; the Server, responsible for aggregating and storing students’ interaction data; the Tangible Player, responsible for carrying out lessons and real-time synchronization between a Physical Interface (the device equipped with sensor s) and a Digital Interface; and Metrics, focused on data analysis and the production of learning indicators. This work presents the con- struction of the Digital Interface of the Tangible Player and implements Composer and Server modules. Communication between the Digital Interface and the Physical Interface was carried out using the WebSocket protocol, preserving the pairing, data exchange, reconnection, and disconnection flows originally specified. Additionally, a simulator of the physical device was developed, enabling the use, development, and demonstration of the platform when the actual hardware is not available.
